The Center for the Humanities is excited to be offering an internship in grant writing that is open to FIU students. Students will be able to earn between 1-3 academic credit hours as part of this internship while also gaining invaluable experience in the grant writing process.
The intern will work with the Center Director and Program Assistant to research funding opportunities for the Center programs, assemble data necessary to write grants, draft grant proposals, refine proposals for submission.
By the end of the internship, the student will have the ability to identify key funding elements in various grants, assess fellowship application instructions an create a writing plan to meet them, write clear application narratives, and polish draft applications to increase their effectiveness.
