Ana Menendez to speak at FIU on March 3rd.

The Center for the Humanities in an Urban Environment is honored to co-host an exciting lecture and reading by world-renowned author and FIU alumni, Ana Menendez. Ana Menendez received her Bachelors of Arts from FIU in 1992 and her M.F.A from New York University in 1999. Shortly after she published her Pushcart Prize winning collection of short stories In Cuba I was a German Shepard. Menendez will be speaking on the subject of exile and will also be reading a passage from her latest novel. We look forward to having you join us for what should be a fascinating lecture.
