On September 18th, 2013, the Center for the Humanities in an Urban Environment held it’s second event of the 2013-2014 season. The event, titled Consuming Passion, which was held at Books & Books, was the first in the center’s “Food for Thought” lecture series. The evening was a panel discussion on the cultivation of food and our relationship with it. We would like to thank the staff of Books & Books and all those in attendance for making this event a success. If you would like to see more pictures, please visit our Facebook page.
