The Richie Boys, a Documentary: Jewish Refuge Soldiers &the War Effort

The Ritchie Boys is a documentary film chronicling the efforts a group of young men who fled Nazi Germany and, after being trained at Camp Ritchie in Maryland, returned to Europe as American soldiers trained in intelligence and psychological warfare. Dr. Guy Stern, Provost Emeritus of Wayne State University and currently the director of The Harry and Wanda Zekelman International Institute of the Righteous at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills (near Detroit) will comment on the film and answer questions. Dr. Stern was one of the Ritchie boys and will blend scholarly insights with personal recollections.
