Oppressive Eating Habits
On March 20, 2014 the Center for the Humanities in an Urban Environment will be sponsoring a lecture by Dr. Miguel A. De La Torre. Dr. De La Torre is a Professor of Social Ethics at Illiff School of Theology and the former President of the Society of Christian Ethics. He will be speaking of the interplay between what we eat in the U.S. and how it contributes to oppressive structures throughout Latin America.
