As part of Florida International University's 22nd annual celebration of the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Ediberto Roman, JD, Professor of Law at FIU's College of Law will offer a lecture on January 31st at 5 p.m. in the Graham Center, GC 150. Professor Roman's talk is entitled "Membership and Immigration: Today's Civil Rights Agenda." It will examine the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., as applied to current immigration issues. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a pre-lecture reception at 4 p.m. in the Graham Center Gallery.
