Film Screening: Sun Come Up

Sun Come Up is an Academy Award® nominated film which shows the human face of climate change through the relocation of the Carteret Islanders, some of the world’s first environmental refugees. Sun Come Up follows a group of young islanders as they leave their ancestral home, search for land, and build relationships in war-torn Bougainville, 50 miles across the open ocean.
The screening will be followed by a panel-led discussion and Q&A session. This event is free and open to the public.
